Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Gaffer Arena, the football tactics prediction game available at gafferarena.com. By creating an account or using the game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Gaffer Arena is a free game of skill built on real football fixtures. You make tactical predictions and are scored against real match outcomes. Nothing is staked and nothing is paid out: the game involves no betting, gambling or wagering of any kind, and no real money is ever won or lost by playing.

• You need a free account to make calls and keep a rating. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
• You must meet the minimum age required by the law of your country to use online services. [OWNER TO CONFIRM minimum age]
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred.

• Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use automation or multiple accounts to manipulate scores, ratings or leaderboards.
• Do not harass or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful or infringing content anywhere in the game.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or the systems that run it.
• We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Approved creators may host branded competitions that other players join via an invite link. Creators are responsible for the branding and description of their competitions and must hold the rights to any name, logo or imagery they upload.

Creators may display a membership price for their competition. During early access these prices are informational only: no player is charged, no payment is collected, and no revenue is paid out. Any future paid memberships will be governed by additional terms published before billing begins, and any future money flows from the platform to creators only — players never stake or win money.

The game, its design, code, questions and content are owned by Gaffer Arena or its licensors. Match data is provided by third-party data providers. You retain rights to the content you submit (such as your username, avatar and debate comments) and grant us a licence to display it within the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of third-party match data. Scores and ratings may be recalculated where data errors or scoring defects are found.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gaffer Arena is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The game is free to play; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service, which is zero during early access.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and may discontinue the service or parts of it with reasonable notice where practicable.

We may update these terms as the game evolves — for example when paid creator memberships launch. We will post the updated terms here and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [OWNER TO CONFIRM JURISDICTION], and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
